These Terms of Use (End User License Agreement) apply when you download, install, or use Repurpy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Agreement to Terms

Repurpy is published by Cats Build Ltd trading as ThinkingCats. These terms apply to the Repurpy mobile app on Android (com.thinkingcats.catcut) and iOS (com.thinkingcats.catcut), and to this website where relevant.

If you obtained Repurpy through the Apple App Store, Section 15 also applies. The App Store is not a party to this agreement.

2. Description of Service

Repurpy is a mobile video editing and repurposing app that helps you turn raw clips into ready-to-share content by analyzing footage, finding strong moments, creating captions and motion treatments, and preparing edits for different social formats. Features may include AI-assisted shot analysis, auto captions, motion graphics, visual effects, sound effects, exports, and subscription plans with monthly usage allowances. We may add, change, or remove features over time.

3. Account Registration

To use AI features and subscriptions, you may need an account with a valid email address. Authentication is provided by Supabase. You agree that:

• You are responsible for activity under your account.
• You will keep your sign-in credentials secure.
• The information you provide is accurate and up to date.

You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to use Repurpy. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian’s permission.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

4.1 Subscription plans

Repurpy may offer auto-renewing subscriptions, including Creator and Pro plans. Subscriptions provide access to premium features and any monthly allowances shown at purchase. The exact subscription name, length, price, and any introductory or free-trial offer are displayed in the app before you confirm purchase. Subscription status may be managed through RevenueCat. We do not receive or store your full payment card number.

4.2 Auto-renewing subscriptions on iOS

If you subscribe on iOS:

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial or introductory period if applicable.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the then-current price shown in the App Store.
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
• You cannot cancel the current active period; cancellation stops renewal for the next period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial or introductory offer may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that plan, where applicable.

4.3 Auto-renewing subscriptions on Android

If you subscribe on Android:

• Payment is charged to your Google Play account at confirmation of purchase, or at the end of a free trial or introductory period if applicable.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period at the then-current price shown in Google Play.
• You can manage subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal in Google Play → Subscriptions.
• You cannot cancel the current active period; cancellation stops renewal for the next period.
• Any unused portion of a free trial or introductory offer may be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that plan, where applicable.

4.4 Cancellations, refunds, and account deletion

Cancel anytime in Google Play → Subscriptions on Android or Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on iOS. Deleting your Repurpy account does not cancel store billing; cancel in the relevant store first if needed. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their respective policies. We do not control third-party refund decisions.

5. Acceptable Use

You may use Repurpy for lawful personal or commercial video editing. You may not:

• Upload or process content you do not have the right to use.
• Use the app to create unlawful, defamatory, harassing, hateful, or fraudulent content.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the app.
• Circumvent usage limits, quotas, or subscription restrictions.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access the service outside official APIs.
• Generate synthetic media depicting a real, identifiable person without their explicit consent.
• Interfere with the security or operation of the app or our servers.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Your Content & Intellectual Property

6.1 Your videos and projects

You retain ownership of the video clips, projects, and exports you create. By using AI features, you grant us the limited license needed to process the portions of your content required to deliver those features. We do not claim ownership of your footage.

6.2 App and technology

Repurpy, its logo, software, prompts, models, and platform assets are the intellectual property of ThinkingCats. These terms do not transfer any ownership of the app to you.

6.3 AI-generated output

Visual, audio, and text output generated with AI is provided for use in your edits. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing and ensuring that your use does not infringe third-party rights. We do not warrant that AI output is original, error-free, or eligible for copyright protection.

6.4 Copyright complaints

If you believe content processed through the app infringes your copyright, contact support@thinkingcats.com with a description of the work, the material at issue, and your contact information.

7. AI Features Disclaimer

AI analysis and generation may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected results. Outputs are provided as is without warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. You are solely responsible for content you export and publish.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. By using Repurpy, you consent to those practices.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time in the app through Account → Delete account & data. This removes your account and associated server data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, abuse the service, or as required by law.

10. Disclaimers

The app and all features are provided on an as is and as available basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or secure operation. Local projects on your device are your responsibility; uninstalling the app may remove local data.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ThinkingCats shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use Repurpy, even if we have been advised of the possibility.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ThinkingCats harmless from claims, damages, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the app, your content, or your violation of these terms.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use of Repurpy after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Apple App Store — Licensed Application Terms

The following terms apply if you downloaded Repurpy from the Apple App Store. They supplement Sections 1–14 and are required under Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement.

• Parties: This agreement is between you and Cats Build Ltd only, not Apple. Cats Build Ltd is solely responsible for Repurpy and its content.
• Scope of license: You receive a non-transferable license to use Repurpy on Apple-branded devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and Usage Rules, including access via Family Sharing or volume purchasing where applicable.
• Maintenance and support: Cats Build Ltd is solely responsible for maintenance and support. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Repurpy.
• Warranty: If Repurpy fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple may refund the purchase price for the app. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation for Repurpy, and other claims, losses, or damages are the responsibility of Cats Build Ltd.
• Product claims: Cats Build Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for claims relating to Repurpy or your possession or use of it, including product liability, legal or regulatory non-conformance, and consumer protection claims.
• Intellectual property: If a third party claims that Repurpy infringes intellectual property rights, Cats Build Ltd, not Apple, is responsible for investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of that claim.
• Legal compliance: You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a U.S. Government embargo or designated as supporting terrorism, and that you are not on a U.S. Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
• Third-party terms: You must comply with applicable third-party terms when using Repurpy, including your wireless data service agreement.
• Third-party beneficiary: Apple and Apple’s subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Upon your acceptance, Apple has the right to enforce this EULA against you as a third-party beneficiary.
